I've noticed that some US TV DVD shows are even in 5.1.

Is there a list of British programmes broadcast or on DVD in Dolby Surround Sound, or can you name some for me please?

Some British DVD's state Dolby Stereo, but does that mean Surround Sound?

I think the original Doctor Who DVD’s (recent series) are launched as being in surround. The Box sets have a 5.1 mix.
