Not on Channel 4 NOOOO.

God help us all.

They are worse than BBC2 with their series.

Ch4 will probably put it on at 4.00 pm on Sundays, yes when nobody watches tv then the evening is full of crap.
Still at least they wont take it off for Tennis, Snooker, bowls, flower arranging.

4pm Sundays - thats when the old Sky1 channel used to show them in pan & scan.

I wonder what happened to those TV companies who shut down 2 months ago?

Only partly sarcastic - personally I wouldn't give a damn if a meteor took out the Astra cluster!

As far as I am concerned those channels have shut down!

I hate the the way both satellite and cable are so locked in, with no option of CAMs

Both Sony and Pace do better operating systems that Ondigital did, read Sonys comments about Sky O/S in WV&TV.

According to European Union regulations, all pay tv providers have to provide a CAM for their encrytption service. Thats why people who had IDTV sets got a SECA CAM from ITV Digital, rather than having to have a separate box.

So, Mr Murdoch is breaking European law by refusing to allow anyone to produce a CAM for Videoguard. A CAM is promised, sometime in the future, but don't hold your breath.

Because of this, I point blank refuse to get a digibox. I don't want any of the sky subscription services, just the fta. I just don't see why I should have another digital receiver sitting in my cabinet, especially one which is technically inferior to my Humax, which has two empty CAM slots anyway!!!!

I'll climb off my high horse now

Hi,

Official news: "Enterprise" starts on C4 on Wednesday 17th July 1t 6pm, with Part 1 of the Pilot Movie "Broken Bow". (Part 2 follows on the next day, also at 6pm.)

Two things: expect massive censorship cuts, and don't expect the show to be in its original widescreen format!

Well lets face it, the decontamination scenes in the pilot episode were just plain gratuitous! A feeble attempt to get people interested in the series using a "sex sells" angle.

Might have worked as well if I hadn't been waiting for Scott Bakula to say 'oh boy' every 30 seconds.
And the irritating as hell credits with the 'monsters of rock' theme song, pathetic drivel.

One of these days, I'm going to say what I mean instead of sitting on the fence

The theme song is truly awful. I used to TIVO the show on SKY One, then skim through the intro - just to avoid the music. It got to the point where the other half insisted that we listened to the start - apparently it's an essential part of the show The scary thing is that the guy who sings it is actually English. It sounds like one of those awful US rock ballads.

I do miss my Monday night fix - mind you, the episode quality was a bit variable. Oh, and I might have guessed they'd end up on Reise!

I hated the theme tune at first, but it has grown on me a bit.

I think this series is very average. I gave it around 6 episodes and then gave up. Serious lack of imagination.

It was originally used for the end titles for Patch Adams.
