Which is your favourite early Bond Theme song/tune.
I’m doing a pole to see which is your favourite Bond title song/tune. I have split them in 2 (early songs/theme tunes, and later songs/theme tune).
In a months time(if I remember) I will combine top in each section ( or if very near results the top few in each section) and do a pole to find your favourite.
SEE OTHER JAMES BOND POLL

I've gone for The Man With The Golden Gun - just love that tune. I also think it's one of the best Bond films.

It has to be Goldfinger.
The James Bond Theme is obviously the most evocative but of the individual theme songs, Shirl has it.

I originally thought that there was a max of 8 entries to vote for and split them up in to 2 lots of songs and one of the music only theme tune, then I found you could do 10 entries. Maybe I could have done one for the music only.
Anyone like me to post one for the music only, including say, the skiing piece from The Spy Who Loved Me which was released as a single?

Louis Armstrong: Satchmo
Old Satchmo does it for me in On her Majestys secret service. not the best Bond film but has to be a Classic Bond Theme.

SEE OTHER JAMES BOND POLE
What other POLL? Or am I missing the joke here?
Well, I would vote for "For Your Eyes Only". Was by Sheena Easton, wasn't it?

Hi James
If you haven’t made your mind up just listen to the first 6 bars? of Goldfinger, what inspired writing by John Barry. Most tunes starts low notes, and when repeated, do with higher notes. John does the reverse here and it works brilliantly. And although far from being a big fan of Shirley Bassey, I think all her title songs have been crackers.
