"UNFAITHFUL" is excellent

I saw "Unfaithful" starring Diane Lane and Richard Gere over the weekend and it is suprisingly excellent. It is a very engrossing and haunting film with a GREAT performance by Diane (The Perfect Storm) Lane!

Recommended for anyone seeking refuge from fantasy blockbusters.

I'm not a Gere fan either, but he plays completely against type in this. Plus he has a supporting role. It's Diane Lane's film.

I thought Final Analysis was highly enjoyable.

I thought Gere's best performance (other than "Unfaithful") was as a corrupt cop in "Internal Affairs".

Diane Lane on the other hand. Well, I'd pay to watch her reading a telephone directory!

Weren't they in "The Cotton Club" together as well?

Right on, MJ

Gere's ONLY good performance = Internal Affairs (one of Andy Garcia's best too, methinks)
Diane Lane = top babe (can act too - she even managed to be the only saving element in Murder at 1600, what an effort).

Yeah, Diane Lane is as sexy as hell in "Unfaithful". Great performance too! She carried the film in my opinion.

I loved how realistic "Unfaithful" is.

I thought 'An Officer and a Gentleman' was a superb Gere film.

Anyone seen Diane Lane's film "The Glass House" with Leelee Sobieski in it?
