Just been reading about the Customs regulations, If I get the box set sent to the Missus and it cost less than £36 quid can I avoid the duty and do I still have to pay VAT?

Season 4 for £36 - where from?
As far as customs it'd depend on the etailer who sent it and would have to mark it as a gift.

http://www.devoteddvd.com.au/cgi-bin/store/store.cgi it comes in 2 parts £27 ish for each part hence the £36 question, I have emailed them regarding the "gift" question, £54 for the two, but no hope of reducing the duty. If anyone has used devoteddvd please post as the prices are good. I haven't imported direct before, is it worth it as I have seen Buffy season 4 for £63.99 in the UK, For £10 quid is it worth the hassle, Ihate going to the post office, and won't want to pay ahandling charge. Will I end up spending more?
