Buffy Season 4 protected ?

Okay this is not about the 'who are you' episode...

Got the dvd collection at the weekend. excellent packaging, inside which there is a single sheet 'flyer' showing the episode breakdown and where the extras are on the disks etc. In the lower right hand corner of the flyer along with info logos such the aspect ratio description etc (BTW how come it says 1:1.78 and its says anamorphic widescreen ?). it has a little white triangle with the letters cp inside and benaeath the triangle is bears the legend 'copy protected'..
The discs play fine in my chipped panasonic but I wondered what this CP was about. I have neither the technology nor the inclination to copy DVDs so its only an academic question.

this set is great IMHO BTW

TIA,

Steve

They probably just wanted to bring the ratio down to a 1: ratio.

My maths teacher used to say that too. It really grates my cheese too when people go on about steep learning curves.. it's SHALLOW learning curves, time is always measured along the x axis.

I think, if memory serves, the CP is a protection thingy that can be a pain in the aris if you play them on a pc. The first set had a little program that wanted to be installed for 'ease' of use for pc owners or some bull like that, that messed you about - i.e. if installed it'd try to force you to use it instead of any player.
Any one else note how season 2 for US is @33 quid - not that we live on Treaure Island...

Lex, who can afford to Rest In Peace off Britain at these prices - not the far coughing consumer?!
