ITV Sport Channel

The ITV Sport Channel is to cease broadcasting on the 11th May. Hardly a surprise I suppose!

This time last year they were making such fanfare about it - remember those adverts with Des & Ally etc...

I feel sorry for Des Lynam: ITV Sport closing, The Premiership being axed from its peak time slot! I wonder if he is regretting leaving the BBC yet!

I think this was always accepted, as they are showing Div 3 playoff this coming Monday, the Div 2 playoff on Sat 11th (last day) and the Div 1 playoff was always going to be on ITV1 anyway.

Oh well, another channel to cross off the list of available ones

Des let the bbc down, I hope he never covers a big match again (he will of course) Did bob wilson leave the beeb because he was sick of playing 2nd fiddle to des, only to be joined by him later?
