Season 2 premiere is airing on Monday, August 21st at 8:00-9:00 PM. In the US obviously.

Expect it on Tuesday morning for download - for us UKers

I would have been delighted to see a US TV exec say this is a one season wonder, anything more will harm it's reputation and wrap it all up.
I hope season2 works but I can't see it being a patch on the first.

I have the first series but haven't watched it yet. Something to look forward to over the long desolate summer months after the WC is finished. However, isn't the title of the second season a bit of spoiler about the end of the first season?

I can`t wait for season 2 ,but knowing there is going to be a season 3 is ace.

i`m glad they have stuck with this as Invasion i was also watching has been dumped.The usual way some US shows go if not getting the viewers.

NICE 1, Just finished watching season 1, really enjoyed it, cant wait for season 2, i ve just started watching Invasion, only to find out its going to get dropped ...boo....

Handy hint: don't bother. The slowest-moving TV series EVER! Ending was rushed and as you said, it's been canned. I would quite like those 20-odd hours of my life back...

Apparently the creator worked on the idea of a two season premise (with the possibiltiy of a season 3) so i have a lot of faith in season 2. There's so many story threads to still wrap up:

Spoilers ahead if you haven't seen all of season 1:
- Obviously escape from the law (did you notice they were running to a blinking light in that field, has schofield got a back up plan?)
- Clear Lincoln's name
- Get Lincoln's son out of jail, either by proving his innocence or a prison break!!!
- Vice president, now the president!
- Find that money ($5 million wasn't it?)
- Finally sort out conspiracy with their dad and everything

End of spoilers

They're just the things we know about, i'm sure they'll create a few more story threads too.

With this, season 6 of 24, season 3 of lost and season 6 of the shield, tv will be awesome again for awhile. Can't wait!

p.s godzilla, this is not the slowest moving show ever, that would have to go to lost, that always has a great finale, just a slow build up. They should have 12 episode seasons like the shield and the wire.

I was referring to Invasion.

Prison Break was consistently entertaining, if almost always highly unbelievable!

Lost season 2 is actually quite engrossing so far. I like the new characters and there seems to be some actual plot development.
Like, seeing what the "monster" actually looks like (if still no idea what it actually is...)

Anyway, back on topic, yes I'm really looking forward to Prison Break, series 2.

Sorry, my bad mate. If you're liking lost season 2 now, you'll love it at the end (well I did anyway). I've heard very mixed things about Invasion, and the fact it apparently ends on a cliffhanger and a season 2 will not be made, i think has entirely put me off.

Apparently according to many sites and the sticker on the front of the region 1 dvd set, season 2 starts this Monday (7th august)!

I hope so. But the official site still says Monday 21st August.

Yeah tv.com did have it listed as that date, but now it's just listed as Monday, so i gathered it was this monday, as the sticker on the region one dvd set said 8/7 the new season starts. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Sods Law being as it is, I am gonna miss the first episode. Of all the times to visit the UK, I have to pick that week

I've just taken a gander at the sticker on the R1 package.

What it actually says is "All new episodes return this Fall, Mondays 8/7c on FOX"

The 8/7c is the time of day the episodes will air - 8 on the East coast and 7 Central, I believe.

Well i bought the season one box set from movietyme earlier this week and so far have watched 9 episodes and loving it so far. Fast paced and lots of twists so far. I needed something to keep me going until lost season 3 but at this rate i will have watched the entire season by the end of this week. So looks like i may buy another boxset to get into.. im torn between 24 or sopranos. I have watched the odd sopranos and loved it. I can honestly say ive never watched 24 but have obviously heard the rave reviews!
