Exclamation Missing LOST Episode Request!

Hi,

Due to my own incompetence, I am missing "Lost" Season 2, Episode 7 "The Other 48 Days" (which introduces audiences to the passengers from the tail-section of the plane).

The episodes aired on Wednesday 7th June on Channel 4, and was repeated on Sunday 11th. Alas my version of the Sunday episode was heavily cut, and because of bad weather, had a lot of digital picture corruption.

So, if anyone has a good quality edition of the Wednesday 7th June version, (not the E4 airings), would they please get in touch with me ASAP. I really need this episode, and am willing to reimburse cost of disc and postage/packing, if need be. I only want the Channel 4 Wednesday night version, though.

Thanks, in advance.

I've got the episode that I downloaded when it was aired on US TV. I can convert it to DVD for you if you want.

PM me if you're interested.

Question

HI,

MonkeyBoy - alas I hate C4's VOD service. I have seen the episode I missed, but I want a good quality off-air recording, that I can add to the rest of my off-air recordings, rather than have to buy the set. (Hey. I'm a skin-flint, so shoot me! :rotfl)

McNab - Thanks for the offer, but I really would prefer the C4 transmission (or the E4 one, if I absolutely have to). Sorry, but I appreciate the gesture.

Can anyone else help me, who has the Channel 4 (or even E4) version of this episode please?

Cant really help but was curious. Is there a difference in quality between E4 & channel 4 or are you just trying to keep the logo consistent?

Why would you prefer a C4 recording to a US recording?

Simply because:

1) It will match all my other off-air C4 recordings of the show
2) Because I don't approve of downloaded material (which covers me on the legal side of things, regarding the Forum Rules)
3) More people are likely to have a C4 (or E4) recording available, than a downloaded or US version, which won't be compatible with my other off-air recordings, which are all in PAL format.

I have it?

Pooch,
I have the epidose you need, I think. And about 5 earlier ones I haven't seen.

It's a C4 recording in LP on a panny e85. I can usually get 6 onto a DVD-R

Any good to you?

Wilby

We should have it recorded directly from E4 onto DVD -R but with adverts cut out. The DVD also contains a couple of other episodes, so I will see if I can get someone to copy The Other 48 Days for you. If you obtain it from elsewhere in the meantime, please post here. (We are recording it for someone who doesn't received E4).

Good luck.

HI,

Willby - thanks for the offer, but I will get in touch with Barbara, I think. Cheers, anyway!

Barbara - have sent you a PM.
