That "Real Life" Simpsons Ad

A few things I've noticed:

1) Why does "Homer" have a left-hand drive car and "Marge" has a right-hand drive car.

2) The "Smithers" really does look like Smithers.

3) No Coutch gag, I know this is takg things to the extreme, but I do like the advert.

yeah it does get annoying after a while. the thing that annoys me the most is the woman who is marge and the face she pulls when driving the car

the film should be good though even though we have to wait until June 2007

Coming in July 2007. A teaser trailer for it has been shown in the US before the Ice Age 2 movie. Link to teaser below:

To be honest, I'm surprised it has taken so long.

EDIT: Not live action, but feature length cartoon Simpsons film.

i really hope they dont make a movie, i think its quite cool you can relate homer to any human you want etc. if you are forced into conforming his character in your mind to a specific actor on screen it ruins the whole fantasy associated with cartoons. then again i hate all film remakes of cartoons

Advert is a good idea, surprised it's takken so long for them to think of it but why do they drive an old Skoda and Lada....? And why are Bart and Lisa the geekiest kids you've ever seen! To be honest it all looks a bit dated, like it was filmed in the 1980s. Maybe its purposefully done that way?

With regards to a film, cant wait for it will probably be just an extended episode but whats wrong with that!? Don't want a 'Live Action' film, that would be utter cr*p and defeat the whole object of the Simpson, plus you wouldnt be able to set Homer on fire half as much!!
