That's not necessarily a problem. The Empty Child in the last series had some brilliant comedy moments ("who looks at screwdriver and thinks, 'ooh, that could be a bit more sonic'?!"), but it was also easily the scariest and (IMO) the all-round best story of the series. We'll see.

I'm glad they have finally announced the date for this as I have gotten fed up with telling the kids it will be on soon when they keep asking.

Don't forget that you can catch Pertwee as the Doctor starting this Monday at 7pm on BBC4, and there is a Doctor Who Night this Sunday on BBC3.

I'm guessing that it will be on at 17.15 becuase that is the only time slot that the EPG on MCE has no data for on BBC1 on the 15th

Annoyingly it's The Green Death.
Annoying because we just watched this last week on DVD.
It's showing in 3 double episodes mon/tue/wed.

presumably on BBC3 several times throughout the week - as was the case last season,
and as BrianC posted earlier they kick things off with Doctor Who Night, Sun 9 Apr, 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm - details here

I've been watching the Jon Pertwee episodes on UKgold in the weekends at 7.00 on the morning. I know its too early but i am a genuine early bird!!

Funny they starting with the Green Death as this is way in to Jon Pertwee's doctor, and is the SPOILERexiting one for Jo Grant
