From the Earth To The Moon. How many discs?

I saw this set on the HMV website for the cheapest price, however it says there are 4 discs in the set. Every other site says that there are 5 discs in the set. Does anyone have this set from HMV? or can they confirm how many discs are in this set. I have phoned a HMV store and they checked the computer at the store and it says 4 discs.

Rats. I thought from the thread title I was going to find out how many DVDs side-by-side it would take to stretch from the Earth to the Moon.

Can we please keep on topic. Does anyone own this set? or has anyone bought it from HMV. Does it have 4 or 5 discs?

Sorry, I haven't got it. But I see that Amazon also says it's 4 discs:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...803230-1721203

Perhaps the 5-disc version is a different edition.

But Play [http://www.play.com/play247.asp?pa=s...n&page=search] says 5 discs????

Seems there are 2 versions. One 5 disc on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/From-The-Earth...QQcmdZViewItem and another [which I assume to be 4 discs] http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/From-The-Earth...QQcmdZViewItem

Well, the first ebay link above is to the German set. & the second is the new UK edition.

The original US R1 edition was 4 discs. 4 episodes per disc on the first 3 discs, & the 4th disc was supplements.

The new US R1 set (Signature edition, 16x9 transfers, dts etc) is 5 discs, with the episodes split over the first 4 discs & the 5th for the supplements.

The special features listed on most sites seem to mirror the US Signature edition.

I can't imagine they'd release 2 seperate editions in the UK.

Cheers Mate. I just phoned play.com who were not much help. So I think I will just get the 4 disc version.

Update: I looked in Virgin Megastore and the version they have looks like its the 4 disc version too. Maybe Play.com have a exclusive version or something. but they dont have any details when I phoned them.

however just seen that loaded247 version is 5 discs too???

Does anyone know who I can email to find out how many actual discs this set has? ie the distributor?
