Only on BBC4 - 22.00 on 31st March and 02.50 on 1st April.

It was very disappointing, to put it mildly.

Managed to miss the 9pm and mess up recording the 1:20am.

I assume it's a one-off then? The friday showings are the same thing again rather than part 2?

there was no series link on sky+ so i'm guessing it was a one-off.

Yup, it was a one off. A bit rushed as AFAIK it ran over 6x40 min episodes originally. I can't remember it very well, but this one seemed vey muted by comparison, a bit lacking in drama.
Still, better than most of the dross on telly.....

i really really wanted to like this, but it was utter rubbish! is there another episode? they set up a whole plotline then just...forgot about it at the end. i think a plot involving the death of a main character should have held the writer and director's attentions, even if we were going to get bored...

I was expecting a lot more from it despite the obvious lack of budget and acting talent

From what I had read about the original (after hearing of this remake) the lack of a second part/series probably explains why they wrapped things up.

I'm not sure who was the most wooden actor in it.

My vote would probably go to the guy who played the General who was also in The Thin Blue Line police comedy programme.

It says much that the Live Quatermass remake was more polished and pacey than A for Andromeda. Utter pap
