I cant believe how stupid some of these companies are I mean come on a thin cardboard Gift Set screams 'put me in a cardboard box' but no they (Sendit.com) stick it in a jiffy bag and look what happens...

It's the same crap packaging as with the series 7, all 3 DVDs piled on top of each other on a single spindle It's a good job I bought a few 3 x DVD empty cases the last time.

Are you sure?

I'm certain I watched S8 in widescreen on what was probably ondigital - I even remember reading an article in a home entertainment magazine about how much more you see with WS - It used S8 as a reference.

I only ever saw the original BBC2 airing and that was definitely fullframe, I guess they could have cut the top and bottom and shown it in widescreen on digital but I am 99% sure it was shot 1.33:1

Also all the Deleted Scenes on the DVD are fullframe and if it was shot in widescreen shouldnt they be widescreen?

I noticed this creeping into other films as well the Frighteners had all three disks on one spindle. You just know this was thought up by an accountant stop this now
