Strange, but true?

Hi all,

Was just wondering whether anybody watched 'Strange' on BBC1 tonight.

I didn't know much about it before hand so wasn't sure what to expect really - but even so I was disappointed. It was just a typical BBC production; dull and lifeless. The characters were totally unrealistic (mostly due to the poor script) and the plot was corny, terribly signposted, and totally dumb.

I sat through it and it just left me wondering why they bothered to make it in the first place? What was the point of it? I guess they were trying to cash in on the popularity of shows like Buffy and X-Files, but it wasn't a touch on them... Shame cos I would like to see a quality fantasy/horror show set in this country.

What did other people think of it?
