Cool

It was the the only cookery program I use to watch after the ruind that one (that use to be on on Tuesday nights on BBC2) with the 2 wine tasters.
Anyway it use to be on the teatime slot on BBC1 Sunday but since they moved it I never knew when it was on or even bothered to find out.

I was hoping Dean would win it. Obviously it's a life changing experience for anyone but perhaps a bit more for him in his current occupation (digger driver). Oh well

Wow, last year's winner, Thomasina, isn't doing too badly:

I have to say the current show, Masterchef goes large, is a vast improvement over the Lloyd Grossman days. The heats are especially entertaining. A good program to watch just after tea but not before as all the cooking on it makes me hungry.

Your not wrong , "lost" the task cooking for the Marines , Cocked up cooking in the Silent Witness set kitchen , Abandoned the "team" when cooking for the Chefs in the Ritz (should have done what Dean did , introduction , small talk , make excuses and go.) Couldn't cook on the QE2 due to sickness . Only working in Raymond Blancs kitchen and his meal on the final day (in which he slightly cooked the duck) , is all he got right all week .

It should have been Dean .
