Trying to find an American TV programme name

I am trying to find the name of a TV programme, involving a secret police investigation squad usually starring a man and woman team team, where the criminals are usually not what they seem to be, i.e. aliens. It has been on Sky1, in the last year, it usually returns but has'nt shown up recently, I think, it usually lasts about two series and then repeats. Its definately of American origin but does'nt seem to be in any of the lists.
Any ideas.

Special Unit 2.

That may not have been on SKY1 though, maybe Scifi.

Was thinking about it and come back and you got it before me it was Special Unit 2. and was not on Sky1 but either Bravo or Sci-Fi channel. The guy played Jimmy Olsen in the first season of Lois and Clark.
It was all sorts of stuff not just aliens they even had dragons in there.
