Talking 'Everyody Hates Chris' on five, this Sunday!

Just a heads up people

The Chris Rock-produced show based on his childhood years starts this Sunday at 8.00pm. There's two episodes this week (I Think).

I've been looking forward to this for ages - I'm a really big fan of Chris Rock's comedy

this is one of the best, most funniest show's on tv. comedy wise, it's a very close second to my name is earl. the US office is the other comedy i watch on a regular basis

chris isn't in the show, he just narrates. no swearing either. it's very much black american (ie. african american) humour, and a lot of jokes might not be so understood by the british public (which is why i would imagine C5 picked it up rather than C4)

the show is set in brooklyn in 1982 with chris as a 13 year old kid trying to understand life and get on with his parents who aren't very well off

it's not a cheesy sitcom style, it's a similar style to my name is earl, just black humour rather than redneck humour

don't miss it!

I loved it, don't like the title sequence but hey that's what a DVR is for

The dad is hilarious especially his worries over the neighbour.

Hi,

Just in case anyone missed either of the first two episodes, Five are going to repeat them both, every Saturday teatime, around 5pm, so that you can catch-up on what's happened, prior to watching all-new double-bill episodes each Sunday between 8 and 9pm.

Hi,

Alas, the Saturday afternoon repeat has now been dropped from Five's schedules! This means, those of us who missed the first two episodes, will now have to wait to see if Five repeat them another time. They are not planned to repeat ANY episodes of this show, between now and the end of April 2006!

Last Sunday's episodes were the funniest two yet! They were laugh-out-loud funny

" 'Mike' Mike was called that because he was the first Mike on the street, but his real name was Pete! "
