last weeks 'Prison Break' (U.K) recaps

Watching the start of Prison break last week, did anyone else find the story recapping a bit excessive?. I dont mind the "previously on 'x'', to recall key story moments, relevant to this weeks episode. But last week they also outlined the entire series so far. Not sure if the programme started exactly on time, but it was definelty 10:05 before the actual new episode content started.

I noticed this also - I couldn't remeber whether every episode recapped the entire series or not? I hope not as come the end of the show we'll have a whole episode of recapping

What they do when ratings get low in america or there is a season break for a week or 2 due to an american national holiday, they do a massive promotional drive and then a huge recap when its back on. I assume they hope that anyone who hasnt been watching from the start can get caught up or at least get interested via the recap and start watching.

Interesting point, a few people I know have missed this and couldn't get into it as there is quite a bit of back story and plot development to this show. So I can forgive the recaps in this instance, its similar for invasion.
