What are those 'Seven Storylines'

I once heard that there are only 'seven broad storylines' that all films, plays, novels etc re-hash over and over again.

e.g. 'Rags to Riches' & 'Role Reversal'.

Does anyone know the definitive list and is there any mainstream film that is so unique that it falls out of the 'seven'?
