Britain's favourite comedian on C5

This was a three hour programme on last night and billed as the results of a MORI poll conducted over a wide range of people to find Britain's favourite living comedian who had amused us for years"

I watched a couple of ten minute spots during the show but this isn't the sort of thing that I normally like with loads of hired sycophants drooling over everyone but I am interested to know who came top.

My own vote for a living comedian who had consistently amused me over the years would probably be for Jasper Carrott but he popped up at 5th in one of the brief slots that I watched.

Anyone bored enough to sit right through it to the end ?

According to the TV Times it was supposed to be greatest living comedian unless the programme was recorded some time ago. Ronnie B would have got my vote.

As allways with these type of shows people inevitably do not agree with the top five or top ten.
I watched this because having seen all my favourite comics appear in the top 20 to top 10 I really needed to see who they deemed as better

Quite liked the top 3 but would never have put them that high up the list.
