Prison Break - One to Watch on C5

Prison Break is a brilliant TV show from the USA

and will show on C5 on 23rd January at 10pm and replay at 10pm on 24th at 10pm

Seen the first 13 episodes already from USA rips

and i like it

but the crappy thing is that they only planned 14 or so first and now becuase it was such a hit in USA they are now making 9 more so will start again in March in USA, but means that in the UK you wont have a massive break

I think it's the norm for a studio to order 13 or so episodes and then if it's successful enough they will order more episodes to complete the season. I believe even Lost started out this way.

I just hope we don't see the situation where we have to wait for the second half of the season like they do in the States.

are you saying that US has always broken its shows up like that? i.e lost's recent month off, PB's 3 no 4, month break etc etc?

They have always had a Mid-Season breaks of 4-6 weeks, but nothing like they have been recently where 3 months seems to be occurring
Although just caught Keifer Sutherland on Letterman who says 24 Day 5 will run straight through

This is a real coup for C5. Its one of the top rated shows in the states and by far the best thing I've seen on TV (better than the last couple of series of 24 IMO)

Think fo it as shawshank redemption over 24 episodes. Some very clever plotlines and they arent afraid to shock you every now and again.

I was wondering when they'd show it over here. It's a brilliant show. I can't wait for it to start again in March
