Best Seinfeld dvd (season)

Thinking of getting a Seinfeld season on dvd. I've not seen most of them for years so can't remember the best ones/season

Can somebody recommend a season to get?

Cheers

Such a difficult question to answer. Season 1, 2 & 3 lay the ground work and while funny and has some great episode (Chinese restaurant, Nose Job, etc) the show hasn't really hit its peak.

Season 4 for me starts showing what the show is all about, has the classic The Contest, Junior mint and Implants episodes, great stuff.

Seasons 5 & 6 have just been released but I've not got them yet, you start seeing more of Georges parents and Newman starts getting more story coverage, great additions to the cast.

So In summary, I'd go for season 4 to dip back into it and then go from there. I think the DVD releases have been great in terms of quality and extras.

Another reason for wanting to get some Seinfeld is to introduce the series to a 'Curb your enthusiasm' loving mate.

He's NEVER seen Seinfeld
