Well it actually started yesterday with I samurai about an arty chap who visits Japan and wants to be a Samurai. Some interesting bits, but the presenter was terrible. Also Twilight Samurai was on as well.

Tonight Jonathon Woss presents the the Asian Invasion Documentary followed by a film-Kikujiro. A few more films showing the rest of the week as well. May be interesting for all japanese/samurai film fans.

I've enjoyed BBC4's Asian season, its even had a couple of new films that aren't even on DVD yet.

I enjoyed Ross's series about Asian cinema even if it was littered with film ruining spoilers, which was at odds with the tone of the show that was aimed at new comers to the scene
