Red Dwarf 8 is due out at the end of March and there will be a limited edition for £1 more than the normal version (at Play) which includes a Corgi Skutter model

That's a nasty little price hike for the standard set, only been paying £13 or £14 for the previous seasons from Play on the day of release.

I can never remember how much I paid for the others, I think Series 7 was a bit more as it was a 3 disc set, maybe this one is as well

You are right Starburst, I've just found the invoice for the Series 7 DVDs which I got on the day of release for £13.99 - so they have increased the price for this basic set for some reason

Not sure why Season 8 is a 3 disk set - so far the cheapest (without model) is £15.99
