Exclamation For Freeview Fans - Some good news!

Hi,

Those of you who currently have Freeview boxes (or intend getting one), will be chuffed with the following news:

The Sky Travel travel channel is being dropped in October 2005, and being replaced with all-new Sky Three!

The upshot is, that Freeview viewers will get to see the first terrestrial airings of Seasons 3 (and eventually 4) of "24"! Sky Three will also show other US imports originally shown on Sky 1, Sky Two (back in the old days of satellite TV), and Sky Mix as well!

Some travel and lifestyle shows will also air, in with the US shows, so Travel fans will not lose all their shows.

Ooh exciting, except - I can't pick up Sky Travel, does that mean I won't get Sky Three either?

Perhaps they will show seasons 2 of Jeremiah and Largo Winch which they dropped from Sky One ages ago.

Exclamation

Hi,

Barbara - It's unlikely, because the aim of Sky 3 is to show stuff that's already been aired on Sky 1, Sky 2 and/or Sky Mix. But then, anything could happen, bearing in mind this is Sky we're talking about. Oh, and good to see you on the Forums again!

LisaG - Alas, if you can't get Sky Travel at the moment, then you won't be able to get Sky 3 either, as Sky 3 is simply replacing Sky Travel, on the same Freeview frequency and channel numbers. Sorry.
