Post TREMORS 3!!!!

I was just looking on the IMDB and apparently there is a third film coming out in october starring only Micheal Gross (Burt Gummer) from the original! (I thought he was the best charector anyway!)
It says its a straight to video release but fingers crossed there will be a DVD too!
I thought the first film was great fun and own the DVD, the second was sadly not as good but still fun and I have it on Laserdisc!
The new film will be titled "Tremors 3: Back to perfection"

You are not alone! :D
Every time a Tremors film is on, we always seem to sit through and watch it.
Great fun.
So a 3rd film is welcome indeed.
The wife will be pleased. :D

These films are fun and the girlfriend and I watch them every now and then too!
They certainly seem to have acheived a "cult" following, just a switch off and enjoy B movie!
I thought Lake placid had a similar feel to it, silly monsters and stereotypical charectors! I love these sort of films and cant wait for the "Grabboids" next outing!!!

HI,

The original, was a complete corker, and certainly one of the best homages/culty movies in a long time.

HAven't seen number 2, but I don't think it will be as good, somehow. And as for 3, I dread to think what it might be like.

Why can't fim makers leave classic movies alone, after just the original, and be happy and content with that? So many other films have been ruined by stupid and mindless sequels, including: Tremors, Star Wars Trilogy (do we really need Parts 1-3, and 7-9?!), the Alien Trilogy, Jaws, Star Trek, etc, etc, etc.

i must admit i hated alien 3 4 . i thought one and two where good .i actualy consider aliens to be one of my faves "game over man game over" clasic . but 3 was a real let down and as for 4 nuff said

i can say that there is a place for sequels . the main problem is usualy they are done realy badly and are tacked on rathwer than contiuing a story just a way to make a quick buck off the back of a popular film.

if they spend the same atention on them as the main film then they can be a worthwhile adition to any collection

i just love the back to the future films

Yes Squid Burt Gummer is the nut with all the guns !.

Is he going to be the only orginal character in it?
Tremors 2 really needed Kevin Bacon to make it work.
I hate sequels which don't have the orginal cast in them.
Star Wars parts 7 to 9????????
God that means 4-6 are going to take even longer to come out on DVD

Got a feeling Lucas is scrapping episodes 7-9. So I heard, but maybe he wants to make a bit more money after all.

Just thought I'd drop in and a couple of quick points about Tremors 3: Back to Perfection.

1. All of the surviving characters from the town of Perfection will be back, however neither Fred Ward or Kevin Bacon makes an appearance in the film this time around.

2. As well as the graboids and the new 'walking' versions of them of them seen in Tremors 2 : Aftershocks, there is a new third variation of the creatures in the new movie (if anybody wants to know or simply can't guess what it is, drop me a line).

3. The movie does have its own official website which is full of behind the scenes photos, background info, and a great Tremors FAQ posted by the series creators.

Cheers,
