New ITV drama

http://afterlife.itv.com/index.html

Could be good, then again it might not be.

Sorry if it's a dupe with something that Pooch has already mentioned.

Looks like an English version of Medium - but it might be worth a watch - has it started yet or is the first episode this weekend?

I thought it was Mediocre at best - as its only 6 episodes i might give it a go but it doesnt hold a candle to Medium imo - the acting of the lead was quite frankly dire. The only one who actually fit into their role was the teacher. And of course there was the gratiutous tit shot.

Not great, but I quite liked it. Anything with Lesley Sharp in it is usually good.

Fortunately I only caught the last 20 minutes of this, mediocre is how I'd describe it too.Shame really, there may be enough talent there but the dialogue was just dreadful

I thought that tonight's (8/10/2005) episode was quite good. The best so far.

Hi,

This was a duplicate post, but no problems! And I did warn people, that it was unlikely to be any good!

Oh, and the show started last weekend!

ITV....new drama....Sat night

Watched it, usual ITV, dumbed down plot.

Don't ITV realise that adult TV audiences today have moved on a bit from the 70s and can handle a bit of depth to a plot, ala BBC1's Waking The Dead.

I can't see them resurrecting this one with the same lead.

Quite surprised they didn't repeat this when all of the Fantatstic Four promoting was happening.

but Ioan Gruffudd said he would jump to the chance to do more if they asked him that was after fantastic four came out and he has allways said it

Cool

Wasn't the series as well delayed in being broadcast and sat on the shelf for a while (probably so the could show reality crap).

it is a shame that top quality shows that we could be watching on uk gold in 20 years time (if we still have tv's lol) are being replaced with stuff that no one would want to watch again.

Cool

Yes I often mention the good days of consistent drama is gone like Poldark, The Oniden Line etc, although a rare treat pops up now and then.
