Stockists who offer "bulk" discount?

I am looking to purchase 300 copies of the BBC "Coast" series on behalf of a client company who appeared in the series and was wondering if anyone knew of a stockist who will provide some form of bulk discount?
Have contacted BBC Customer services who were not interested.
Retails at £31.99 so if anyone can help it would be much appreciated
Thanks in advance
Les

Hi,

Your best bet would be to contact the head of a major retailer (e.g Play.com, et al) or manager(ess) of a local high-street store (HMV, et al), and see if they can help.

If your local HMV store manager, for example, was willing to order that many copies of just one title for you, I'm sure some negotiating could be done.

Alternatively, what about somewhere like Amazon.co.uk, or something similar. I'm sure there must be some place on the internet, that would offer you a large discount for that many copies. Moreso, because you'd be spending so much money in one go!

Hope that helps.

This has been a real eye-opener (.)-(.)
Around £10k of trade for just being the middleman and none of the big suppliers seem to be interested. Contacted play and amazon and both said that they have security on their website to prevent large buys like these (play say the limit is 5) to stop ebay traders taking good deals, buying up the stock and putting it back on the market at a small mark-up....
Even tried Costco and Macro and they are both saying that they "don't stock it" as they only pickup stock nearer to the release date.
Have now contacted a local specialist music shop that stock DVDs who seems to be interested - will see what price they come up with.
Regards
Les
