Once upon a time I would just ignore the Emmys as crap because of our 'superior' television. But now they make a total mokery of our TV.

Lost and House are miles better than anything we can do.

And that's not to mention countless others. BSG, SG-1, Atlantis, Desparate Housewives, 24, the west wing, all the CSIs, It's endless.

And it's funny how the best shows are now picked up by C4, 5 and Sky.

The Beeb and ITV just continue to pump out garbage these days.

I know exactly what you mean, when a british TV awards show airs I rarely recognise actors or programmes anymore. However, theres a lot of excellent US shows scattered amongst channel 4, 5 and various sky channels that takes up the interest. That sky personal planner comes in handy nowadays
