Prison Break

This is a new series in the US and I have seen all 4 episodes so far. All I can say is that it is excellent and I really recommend this series.

Great story line and very well shot. This has hooked me the same way Lost did last year.

http://www.fox.com/prisonbreak/

It has the Dracula from Blade 3 in it as well as the girl from The Craft (which time hasn't treated to well.... )

I enjoyed john doe but it was canned like all good and promising shows (like Carnivale).
Worth catching if you have the time imo but it doesn't finish answering all of the questions it raises.

Yeah, not as good as Lost but sofar pretty good.

How many eps. will this season be? Can't see a second series unless they aren't broken out by then. Wich will make season one a little long winded if it is a full season (20~25 eps.).

Is with more women when over 30 and wanting to look very slim/thin they look IMO a little dried out (hungry?)/masculine (same with Jennifer Connelly). Nothing wrong with some curves.

Razor Have you seen Rome yet? Good show!

Dried out is exactly what he looks like. She looked so nice inThe Craft. You know what they say women get old and men get distinguished.

It says here that there are 13 episodes in this session.

http://www.tv.com/prison-break/show/..._listings.html

Roll on episode 5

Son of shaft no I havent seen Rome yet, I will hunt it down for a viewing, cheers for the tip mate.

not sure I like Rome tbh. Acting is very weak imo but the story seems to be OK. Sets and clothing ect are pretty good though. It's certainly no deadwood.

I've been watching this too and must say I'm hooked.

I had a suspicion the woman in the kitchen is Patricia Wettig who has previously been in Alias, it's the voice that does it.

Having checked IMDB http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0923210/ I found I'm right!

That poof with the pocket makes me sick, they should of just broke his neck in the lock down.

Nice to see that bloke out of band of Brothers in the show, I felt for him when the cons got hold of him. Whats going to happen to the brother looks like they are trying to kill the poor bloke before he get electricuted.

I felt sorry for the new guy who has to share a romm with that sick bloke. I think I would end up killing him in his sleep. I couldnt handle him.

I hope Michael does save the doc. Shes the governers daughter Another surprise. I felt sorry for her, nasty buggers.

Right,
Prison break.

Thanks to razor for the eps that have been sent to me, after some problems I finaly manged to get them to play

I am 3 eps into the 4 I have been sent. I am not hooked on it yet like I am with BSG or stargate, but I can see my self getting there. However I have a couple of problems with the show.

1) The use of language does not seem to be very realistic towards a program about prison. I have not heard one single swear word in the program so far. A lot of programs these days seem to use harder language, why not this one? It would not be out of context, and there is certainly quite a bit of Violence, so whats with the tame language?
2) I cant see how they are going to stretch the program out to anymore than a couple of seasons. After all, if and when they managed to break out, thats it!! end of prison break. Unless of course they get captured and have to escape again( That would be a bit convoluted though, wouldnt it?)

Apart from these 2 minor little niggles I am enjoying the show. The acting is good, the story going along at a fair pace. Not upto Battlestar standards, but a good solid show, that will hopefully keep me watching

Nice review Dave. The show only gets better with No. 6 being the best so far. As for the swearing, 'Fraking' polite inmates. To be honest I never even noticed this.

Your right about the length of the series. I am enjoying this show so much I hope it does go on for more than 1 session.

LOL @ Battle star comparisons.

I'm sure the prison break is the major theme of the show but I'm assuming once they get out they have to clear his brothers name too That might be quite a few episodes in it's self.
