Thumbs up Coming To UK TV Screens Soon...

HI,

I've found the following, about what channels in the UK have bought what shows from the USA. Enjoy!

BBC1, BBC2 and/or BBC3
Into The West (Mini-Series)
Triangle (Mini-Series)
How I Met Your Mother (Comedy)
American Dad (Animated Comedy)
Family Guy (Season 4 from BBC2 in October 2005)
Rome (Controversial HBO Mini-Series, BBC2 over December 2005/Jan 2006)

ITV1
Supernatural (Sci-Fi drama)

ITV3
Numb3rs (Crime drama)

Channel 4, E4, and/or More 4
Invasion (Sci-Fi)
The War At Home (Sitcom)
Reunion (Thriller)
What About Brian? (Sitcom)
The O.C (Season 3)
One Tree Hill (Season 3)
The West Wing (Seasons 6 and 7)
Curb Your Enthusiasm (Season 5)

Five
Prison Break (Drama)
Everybody Hates Chris (Comedy)
Sex, Lies & Secrets (Teenage Soap Opera/Drama)
South Beach (Teenage Sopa Opera/Drama)
Out Of Practice (Comedy)
Crazy For You (Romantic Comedy)

Sky 1/Sky Mix
Bones (Crime Drama)
Weeds (Comedy about a housewife who starts growin and selling drugs!)
Threshold (Sci-Fi)

Living TV
Too Close to Home (Legal Drama)
Four Kings (Comedy)
Veronica Mars (Drama)

FX
Brotherhood
The Cell

Some interesting choices there, but can't wait to see "Prison Break", "Numb3rs" and "Rome" the most out of that lot!

ROME I think is a must watch and I hope that the BBC editing of the first ep to cut down on the historical background is just a rumour and not a fact. I don't know about anyone else but Roman History wasn't big in my comprehensive education and wouldn't it be bizarre for a US production being cut for having to much educational content
The BBC may have limited HD via Dsat by the time ROME is screened, that would be the way to see such a costume drama.

Prison Breaks pilot was excellent so I'll be watching Five when they show that and Supernatural is the new X-Files if it's treated right by ITV.

NTL capping my broadband has made me appreciate broadcast TV a little more even if I have to wait 6-12 months to watch some of the shows

Cheers Pooch, I'd been waiting on How I Met Your Mother, American Dad, family Guy, CYE, Veronica Mars, Bones and Weeds, so great to see them all in your list!

I'll also look into the others see if anything catches the eye
