Has anyone else purchased this? My copy arrived this morning and I have looked at the DVDs and the picture quality seems poor. It's nothing to do with my DVD player, plasma or cables which are all top quality.

Is it just me? The first disc seems particularly bad, or have others found the same problem?

Thanks, I had already read that post but it bears no relevance to mine on the picture quality.

Could relate to the picture. Are all of the episodes on the disc as they were transmitted...ie, there's no "directors cuts" for want of better words. Could be that some material has been added from "the cutting room" floor and is not as good quality as the original...IYSWIM.

I haven't seen every episode yet but you make a useful point there. I'll have to watch and see.
