BlackJack InTheMoney - did U C it all?

Did anyone record the 2nd BBC episode of BlackJack, "In The Money"?
I got caught out by the (as usual completely unnecessary extension to the) News coverage of the MJackson entity.

... and I've only just discovered this forum!

Did anyone record it? (even better, in a broadband/cd friendly format?)

Or can anyone point me at an episode giode, or describe the last 15 minutes?
(I got to where the SPOILER ...

greyhound steward /SPOILER starts to break down under interrogation)

BBC and UKTV Drama repeating BlackJack

Just noticed that I can catch my missing episode (pilot/1st) of BlackJack very soon. Seems the BBC are showing it in August before UKTV Drama start doing so in September.

DRAMA: Black Jack
On: BBC 1 North West (1 / 101)
Date: Tuesday 8th August 2006 (starting this evening)
Time: 23:35 to 01:10 (1 hour and 35 minutes long)

An anytime alert is set for 15 minutes before the programme starts
Murder Archive. Series 1, episode 1.
Crime drama about a detective consigned to re-investigating old cases after blowing the whistle on his colleagues - difficult work that requires cunning, humour, alliances and the ability to tap into resources not normally used in a police investigation in order to bring to trial people who thought they have got away with it.
(Repeat, Followed by Weatherview, Widescreen, Subtitles)

Starring: Colin Friels, Kate Behan, David Field, Victoria Longley

HI,

Sky Digital viewers can also see/record each of the four BlackJack "movies", late on Friday nights, on Sky Digital 971 - BBC1 Northern Ireland, as this region is airing them just after Midnight, every Friday night, starting from Friday 11th August!

Basically, that's two chances to catch the uncut, widescreen versions, before UK Gold air the uncut, 4:3 versions in September!

Pooch

P.S. Apologies Barbara, as I sent you the PM about this show, before I noted your post in this thread. Bye!

more blackjack

According to here http://www.australiantelevision.net/...ndtrilogy.html
and here http://www.imdb.com/Sections/Inproduction/Index/B
there are 3 more episodes on the way/in production.

I wonder if the BBC will show them.
Or publicise them.

After all, they helped fund(?) the existing episodes, then put it on in the dead of night. Weird. Blackjack is at least as good as Touching the Dead/Silent Witness/Frost/Taggart(recent series).

Hi Pooch,

I inadvertently deleted BlackJack 3 by pressing the yellow delete button instead of the adjacent blue Keep button on the Sky+ Planner. The times I've done that, a silly design to have them next to each other, other members have complained of this.

I've tried to record the channel you mention (971, which is now BBC Scotland) and NI (973) for this Friday evening. No BlackJack 3 shown for the 25th. Since you mentioned it would be Friday nights, starting on the 11th August, I assumed BlackJack 3 would be on the 25th. I also checked the Thursday and Friday nights.

Any information on this please?

Glad to know it's repeated in September as I missed the pilot episode and I really like this series. Thanks Pooch.

Hi Barbara,

Thank you for that. Maddening to know I've just missed it. I should have looked at this thread earlier.

Hope I catch them again in September.

The very first episode of the gritty Australian crime drama starring Colin Friels. A detective is consigned to re-investigating old cases after blowing the whistle on his colleagues. It's difficult work that requires cunning, humour, and people skills in order to bring to trial people who thought they'd got away with murder.

Thank you Barbara, I really appreciate that.

I'll have it sitting nicely on my Sky+ Planner and will press the "Keep" button alongside it so there will be no accidental deletions. I will pray we don't have torrential rain that night to spoil the picture.

Brilliant news that's it's so soon, will the other episodes follow each week at the same time?
