Hey all thinking of getting these 4 series at some point soon just wanted to chaeck on a couple of things.

1) Band Of Brothers. I want the tin edition but which is best to go for the R1 or R2 release?

2) Firefly. Is this every episode or just the first season?

3) Harsh Realm. Is this every episode or just the first season?

4) Tru Calling. Is this every episode or just the first season?

Region is of no consequence but I do want the cheapest price, so recommendations would be appriciated.

Band of Brothers:

Get the R1 edition as it has a stonking dts soundtrack. The R2 does not have dts.

Both Firefly and Harsh Realm only lasted 1 season (although Firefly is getting a movie, called Serenity)

True Calling had one full season and half of a second season and as far as i remember the Regoin 2 boxset has all the episodes in one set while the region 1 has only season 1 and not the extra 6 episodes (i think)

Firefly - one season of 15 episodes in total, and available on R2 dvd, with good extras, spread over 4 discs. The finale movie "Serenity" is out in October 2005 in the UK, I believe.

Harsh Realms - again, one season, just nine episodes though, and a reasonable set, spread over 3 discs (if my memory serves) on R2 dvd.

"Tru Calling" - came out on Monday 27th June 2005 in the UK, and contains every episode from Season 1 and 2 that were ever made. (Not all of these episodes were ever broadcast in the UK and/or USA however.) The Region 2 set is the one to go for, and has reasonable extras, and is in 16:9 widescreen like most modern 20th Century Fox TV shows are. Not sure about the soundtrack, but am pretty certain it's only Dolby Surround not DD5.1.
