I thought this series was a total letdown, all the suprises were telegraphed, the real time element was sacrificed for contived plots to fill the 24 episodes, big letdown.

There is definately going to be a 5 series. It already has the go ahead.

Im also wondering whats going to happen.

Some say it might focus on other characters like Tony and michelle.

Somehow I doubt that alone would be enough. He may make his comeback sometime in the middle of the next season.

I thought the series was excellent! It was slightly different to the others as the priority in CTU changed all the time SPOILER
(eg. Briefcase. Nuclear Meltdowns, Secretary of defence, Marwan, Nuclear missile etc)

Having watched the previous 3 series on DVD in no time at all, its hard to compare to this series which i watched on TV over the space of 6 months, maybe the tension is slightly lost but it was still excellent. Cant wait for the DVD!

And i'm stumped as to what they're going to do for Day 5 (has anything official been announced that its actually happening?) maybe Jack will go and join his daughter Kim and Chase wherever they are?? (they mentioned it at the start of the season)

chase & kim have a house in valencia just outside L.A (yes i really am that sad )

its officially been picked up for season 5 starts shooting in july for a january premier in the states so expect it the same time S4 was here.

p.s anyone comes in here with S5 spoilers will be getting a personal visit from me and my goons

obvious aint it. country in trouble call in the one man to CTU who can help. simple affective formula
24 will not focus on tony or michelle it will focus on the day of jack bauer. the only way this will deviate is if he gets killed off. cant wait but 2006 is just to damn far away

Poor old Aurdery, having both her men die in one day, lets hope she finds out the truth before she does something silly.


Think 24 is a program that would work better in 1 or 2, 3 sittings on dvd, to drawn out every week.

having just watched season 4 and really enjoyed it im going to watch the others now starting with day 1.

why is it only recorded in 2.0? and not 5.1?

it was shot in 2000/2001 maybe for tv shows that wasnt a thing to look for. S2,3,4 are in 5.1

I think maybe Jack is going to find some big terrorist plot thats going to have an impact on China so they need his help to solve it and they will let him off so he can come back to sort it all out.

Been a big 24 fan since day 1 - and thought season 4 was fantastic yet found the a bit of a disappointment - why did Marwan fire a missile on LA when he had a chance to go for Washington. The destruction of the missile was dealt with far to quickly. Will the dvd have an alternate ending? Will get the dvd as I have the other 3 sets and the extras are always good.

Jack didnt cry like a baby this time at the end, so i think he growing up and taking responsibility!, only kidding.
Maybe he will join up with Rambo and hide out in the wilderness. And go loopy, and they send someone in to tell them the war is over or something.

My main prediction for season 5 is that we see a bit more of the cute lady terrorist who (spoiler, highlight to read) got pardoned for everything, including attempting to assassinate Palmer. If memory serves, she was not only the same woman who poisoned Palmer, she was also the one who blew up the plane right back in series one, then parachuted out of it, had some dealings with a (female) lover and with Ira Gaines, and then dissappeared, along with her girlfriend.

I also predict romance for Chloe.

Nicolas, The Assasin you refer to is called mandy. she did not take off with her girlfriend in season one the last we seen of her she jumped in the jeep with ira after her lesbian life partner was shot by a sniper rifle in the hands of jonathon/Martin Belkin when he was in the hills told you lot im sad. i have my predictions for next year but will keep them to my self

Me and the old dear loved 1 2 3, addicted to the serious. But it says something when i nip to the off lisence and she does some ironing during a show That just would never happen with the first 3

Stoped watching about six weeks ago and i've been reading the spoilers here as i' no longer care about 24

Yes, but the girlfriend survived - she was wearing a bullet-proof vest (or flak jacket, or something). I'm sure I remember the two of them headed off together the last time we saw them.

so what episode does Bridget (mandy's GF) and mandy go off together ? last im sure i seen of her was she was left on the deck after being shot. gaines asks mandy does she want the job in the summer and jumps in the jeep. ira says to her she had no choice, cut to them leaving seeing the girl on the deck assumed dead. now she may not be but when do you see her again ? im sure she is dead unless im drawing a total blank
