X-Files

I remember a really funny episode with some men in black running around questioning people, some of the people where convinced that molder and scully where aliens and all of their stories contradicted each other.

It was a bizarre episode, but I really liked it, I just can't remember what it was called or what season it was from.

Can anybody remember this episode?

The episode is the rather wonderful "Jose Chung's From Outer Space" which appeared in Season 3.

Did the Xfiles ever come to a satisfactory conclusion? Did we find out what the aleins and super solders were actually doing and were they stopped. I stopped watching it just after Mulder left and never got back into it so what happened?

Er, sort of. It's a bit complicated.

Now there's a surprise!

Funnily there has been a number of thread I was about to start and was started just before I was going to do oooooooooooooo an other X-File.

Also I was going to ask your question, also what was the reason the guy had to keep travelling west to stop himself dieing (know it was something like to do with the setting of the sun) but what had cause the problem in the first place?

dave,

i hope thats not answers on a postcard!! i might need a while to do all the research on everything. Added to which the x-files never leant itself to simple bullet point explanations. As it normally throws up more questions than it can ever hope to answer.

Check this site out it can be a bit heavy though but its worth it Its run by the kind of anoraks that we can only dream of being..... They made an X-Files TIMELINE

http://www.themareks.com/xf/

Gary

All this talk between us of anoraks across the threads over the last week or so has made me want to watch "Galaxy Quest"

I couldnt be botherd to read that script for "drive", but

**SPOILER**
Did the guy have to keep driving, or moving west because some ULF waves were creating pressure in his head and if he stoped moving away from the waves it would build the pressure up and he would kinda burst in his head?

I read most of the script and it does not say in full what happend or what happend to the guy, but I remeber it happend to his wife first and I know there was going to be a problem when he ran out of land and ended u at the sea.

There is plans for another X Files movie to be released in 2006.

I found the conclusion pretty good myself and loved the movie and hope the sequel features Annabeth Gish ( yum )

They've been saying things like 'It will be starting production soon' for years. But now theres a date (or at least a year) could be a good sign.

Garrett, i've sat and watched it

there was a US Navel Experiment (Project Seafarer) with radiowaves under his house - i test devolpment for killing soliders with sound. well it went off and did something to the inner ear of everything living (exploding dogs! ) except for an old lady who was deaf. Driving west was something to do with laylines (nothing to do with the setting sun)

i watched three on sunday afternoon (drive and Dreamland 1 and 2) and i have to say i really really enjoyed them.

Towards the end of its run (seasons 7 8 and 9) my personal life exploded and i didn't get chance to watch so i bought the DVD's as they came out.

i thought Season 9 was a belter - i was so sad to see it go - Annabella Gish and Robert Patrick were superb - i wish they had kept it going - it was a breath of fresh air.

gary

i also really enjoyed season when i

Glad to see you enjoyed it Gary, the missus and I had a bit of an x-file obsession. We would watch a whole boxset in about 7-10 days. We would get very sad when we only had a few episodes left.

I didnt think I would like moulder and skully being replaced but they did pull it off very well. Shame they canned the series. I thought the last episode was ok but you could tell it was just there to finish the series off. Moulder and Skully left to pursue their acting carreas in the movies but from what I can see it hasn't gone so well.

Bring back X-Files, we miss you.
