Worst TV "Personalities"

I thought I'd start this thread as a way of venting my spleen.
Anyway - I nominate :-

Aemonn Smugtoad and Fiona Startledrabbit - you know who they are.
Clare Balding - has she kidnapped someones baby. How on earth did she get on tv - and she's everywhere. Talk about talent bypass.
Chris The-rant - sure?, final answer? -smirk- absolutely sure?, final final answer?, AAAGGH
Kay - I'm more important than anyone else - Burleigh. Patronising egomaniac

In two words: PATRICK KIELTY

No personality, no talent, and about as welcome as a fart in a space suit.

This is probably just up here in the north, but there is a double glazing advert that is, I presume, done by the owner of the company. The "catchphrase" is "You buy one, you get one free! I say: you buy one, you get one free!" This is one of the worst adverts on TV and the owner of this company clearly, as he always does these ads, thinks he is some sort of big sell.

Johnathan Ross? What about Paul Ross?!?

Steve_P - totally agree with you. I have no idea what the appeal of that program is.

Anyone from Big Bore er, Brother.

Terry Wogan #1 all-time pain in the ar5e smug get
Jonathan Woss (except for Film 200x, and his missus is well tasty so he gets bonus cred for that)
Anybody at all on youf TV from Chris Evans onwards
All self-absorbed news monkeys (i.e. 97% of them)

Sorry, I seem to be becoming more and more grumpy as time goes on

I've actually met Paul Ross - He's a realy nice fella.

It's been said that he'd be at the opening of an envelope if he got an invite, and its rumoured that his answerphone message says "Hello this is Paul Ross - I'll do it..."

Another vote for Jonathan Ross.

Also....
Richard & Judy, Johnny Vaughan (on my TV now!), Dale Winton, Steve Penk (Now he's back here on local radio!!), Matthew Kelly, Madeley, Volderman etc etc.

Probably easier to list the 'best personalities'

Patrick Kielty again for me. How he got his own chat show is beyond me. Proves that not all Irishmen have the Irish charm or humour.

Graham Norton - annoyingly camp and not funny.
Garth Crooks - never knowingly clever, asks the most ridiculous questions.
Carol Vorderman - just because she can add up doesn't mean she can advise me on everything in the world.
Carol Smilie - just plain useless.
Robert Kilroy Silk - Television's first ever emetic.

I'm sure I'll think of many more !

god you people do mess about the answer to give is

ALL OF THEM!!!!!!

they present TV shows!! thats all! nothing more!! they aren't going to tell me how to vote, what to name my kids, what to recycle, if i should be concerned about africa, what shoes to wear, what drinks to drink. none of it. i blame magzines like heat!! and Closer ing rubbish!
i hate the "cult" of celebratity its really gets on my wick, they do a job thats all - nothing more.

i dont care if they screw sheep on a saturday -its their choice. i dont care if they tell me that my telly is too big or i should call my next child "anti-oxidant" they can all - off

as for Claire Balding she looks like the kind of girl that could carry you home from the pub - and that not a bad thing

And might I add to the hit list practically everyone who presents a motoring programme.

What does the ad for these jobs read like?

"WANTED - Smug bastard with really grating, unnatural, affected manner of speech."

Have to agree with Kevo. It would be easier for me to list any I don't dislike, and at the moment I can't think of one.

They all seem to come across as objectionable in one way or another, and looking at the people listed above I'm not surprised by any of them.

I quite enjoy Pimp my Ride USA style, but it is not the cars that make the show, but the personalities in the garage and the presenter. Westwood looks like some sort of middle aged chav trying to act like Eminem.

I reckon they should have got Ian Wright for the show.
