I have been watching this on Living Tv for the past few weeks. Very light hearted legal drama with james spader and william shatner. Not normally my kind of thing But I have to say Bill shatner truly is a comic legend .

Any one else like this show?

Loved it, shame the first season got cut short thanks to the success of Grays Anatomy but at least those "missing" episodes will be shown as the start of the second season.

BL really does improve as it gets into it's stride and it was damn good from the start

Agree - great series. Liked Shatner in Star Trek 'cos of the humour & he's excellent in this. Wasn't on Monday 'cos Living did a Most Haunted Live special for the Summer Solstice

James Spader is excellent in it & it get better by the episode, a real unexpected bonus ( WAS VERY SCEPTICAL AS FROM THE WRITER OF ALI MCBEAL)

Dave you do know its got no spaceships in it - dont you? i know it has Kirk and that my have confused you but no matter how many episodes you watch he wont say "khhhhaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!"

I've been hoping for a DVD set as well because i've heard lots of good things about it.

I used to watch The Practice but haven't seen the final season, which Boston Legal stems from.

I found The Practice often took itself a bit too seriously (when Dylan McDermott would start hamming it up), and so have really enjoyed the far more humorous Boston Legal.

And yes...the Denny Crane character is a work of genius!!!

I did miss a few episodes, but Denny Crane drew me back in! Great character and the show offers a fun hour of entertainment each week. However, the dark end of season was a suprise!

actually its not really the end of the season. It was cut short because of another show that was put in its place. Hopefully after greys anatomy ends its run on living they will show the second season of Boston legal (this has the last few eps of the first season tacked on to the start )
