What TV should i be watching....?

Hi all,

Getting a bit concerned really as a few of my regular TV programmes have finished or are soon to come to an end! Looking for some recommendations on what i'm missing, to give you an idea of my taste here's what i've been watching recently (dont laugh!):

24: Season 4 (OMG its nearly over, its so damn good!)
The OC: Season 2 (alway has me laughing and the drama is good too)
Smallville: Season1 (on DVD) (only recently started watching this, half way through the 1sy season, the episodes started getting slightly repetitive but they've now redeemed themselves with some real good ones)
CSI: Season 2 (on DVD) (half way through this series, easily as good as the first, cant get enough of it!)
Desperate Housewives (over now, but enjoyed this, the dark humour and conspiracy theories were good)
Dr Who (have still to watch the final episode on Sky+, but a pretty good return overall)
Joey (started off slow, but gets better and is now a guaranteed 1/2 hour laugh for me)

I'm also going to invest in some DVDs of older series i've missed that look good:

The Shield
Scrubs

And i'll be buying the next seasons of Smallville and CSI soon.

So is there any other programmes i should be watching or DVD boxsets i have missed out on? what do you recommend?

Cheers Rob

Thanks, i saw the advert for House and was meant to watch it, forgot to set the Sky+!
What episode is it on now? and what day/time?

Easy to get in to?

Nip/tuck also caught my eye, but i never got round to watching, i might invest in the DVD as i like starting from the 1st episode.

Not a massive fan of Nesbitt but may give it a try.

Cheers

Anymore?

Rob

Two And A Half Men after Joey was good once it got going, I disliked the first few episodes...I believe that the 2nd series is being shown somewhere in the depths of Sky...if you like CSI try to pick up the Law and Order: Criminal Intent reruns dotted all over the place. I watch most of the prog's you list and also find American Chopper thoroughly enjoyable, you'll catch repeats of that on Discovery.

Thanks BauerCTU (sorry prefer ur old name, i'm a Gooner! )

I take it i wont be disappointed by the 24 Season Finale this week then? :D (dont give anything away!)

Alias was something i was flirting with buying in HMV a couple of months back, will try and get hold of the first season.

Might give 2 and a half men a try too.

I've been put off Law and Order by the fact my mum watches it!!! Although she is a CSI fan too! I'll give it ago, any idea what channel/s it's on?

Whats American Chopper about?

Cheers Rob

House is a one week one story like CSI (althogh they sometimes have 2)

Nor I'm not a fan of his either but is a bit on the gritty side.

Crime Story well that is a on going story but worth it to get into, but I did not enjoy the second series as much as the first.
