The TV show 24. Has it had better days.

Was wondering, have they milked 24 for all its worth now as it seems to be turning into CHEESE.

I reckon it is time they called it a day and let Jack 'bleedin' Bauer chill out, if only for a day.

I mean ~ how much bad luck can one tolerate in one day or does it go with the job

Any thoughts?

Pete

Series 4 IMHO is tremendous (as they all are). The format is familiar to all of us so maybe thats why some are not so sure anymore, but its edge of the seat stuff, and the only program I CANT MISS

nah 24 is great. i'll admit i thought jack's character was getting a bit tired after season 3 and i had a feeling that maybe the focus would shift towards chase for future seasons, but that hasnt' happened, and it's turned out to be great

I'd not watched any until my mate talked me into borrowing his series 1 DVDs. I was very anti watching it as I tend to snub hyped things, but found it was very watchable. It hasn't made me want to watch any more though as I see it as an upmarket soap opera and I hate soaps !

I'll probably start watching from 9am on Day 1 tonight, so please - no plot spoilers.

Have enjoyed it so far, albeit I've disappointingly been able to foresee some of the plot twists coming... Still, it's holding my interest so I'll stick with it - and Jack is having such a bad day he needs all the help he can get!

Picture quality is p1$$ poor though, resorted to watching it on TV - waste of projector lamp!

No way!

I think this current series is fantastic! My favourite is series 3 but all of them are excellent. Ok it may be stretching the boundaries of realism to have Jack have so many bad days, but he has worked at CTU so it comes with the job i guess, and i'm willing to suspend disbelief as it so enjoyable!

Anyone who hasnt seen an episode, buy it now!!!!

I still think its great.

I was a bit unsure around episodes 3 and 4 of the current series, when it seemed to be stretching believability a bit toooooo far.......

But it got right back on track, and has been as enjoyable as ever for me

Long live 24.

Ian.

I was a 24 virgin until this series but it's got me hooked big style and i'll probably invest in the other days on DVD at some stage.

As to why he has so many bad days - well he works for the CTU who obviously deal with terrorist threats. It is therefore his line of work. It's like saying why do the coppers in the bill always have some crime to deal with.

Sunday night's show was great - apart from the Tony/Michelle thing, which bugs me.

I liked Jack preparing for the firefight in the gun store, although the two brothers story was a bit 'clunky' - "We hate terrorists, we are Americans, we want to serve our country"...hmmmm...

Anyway, looking forward to see what is going to happen next week, is this another assassination plot?

Yeah, Sunday's episode was excellent! (arent they always now!) I don't mind the Tony/Michelle thing, as long as it doesn’t take up too much screen time.

Personally I think that the guy from the US Airforce speaking with Habib is being hired to either shoot down AirForce One or hijack it in similar fashion to the Harrison Ford movie. I remember Heller advising the President to stay in the air a little longer until its safe so that may be a clue if anyones seen it don't tell me if I'm right or wrong!

Was listening to Radio 1 this morning, the jammy competition winners got to be in 3 scenes of 24 and meet Keifer! Lucky ********!! :suicide

He sounded like a right geek as well. (as would I, no doubt, if I had been in his position!)

series 4 has greatly improved on series 3(the low point in the series). Imagine a couple of crossover epsiodes with The Shield!!(Don't know how but would be great! and both shows are made by fox)
