Cool Amazon Abyss

All this coming week this program will be shown on the BBC at 7pm, it looks good and the will be finding all sorts of weird creatures and I think in one they will be find a anaconda.

Saw an article in The Times at the weekend on this. Had a picture of the cameraman up to his neck in the Amazon river. Says they did film Anacondas, Piranhas and some mega-Catfish which had been known to attack fishermen in their canoes.

Looking forward to this too.

Big pants - Wouldn't worry to much about the snorkelling ... this is in the Amazon and I don't think the sport is commonplace

I did a bit of snorkeling of Sorento and thought it was fantastic I would do it again even though I came across a very large eel.

was less than 3 or 4 ft from a 6ft Barracuda in the Caymans too ... yikes !!

Did any one watch this last night they where swimming in a pool with what they though was a coral snake (didn’t look like one to me). And an other lot grabbing hold of an Anaconda. Then some guy filming some baby caymen and if they mad a noise the parents would return, the cameraman was in the water.
