Not a fan of the show myself (loved Friends) but I think it will do very well for Five, not sure about a Sunday screening though but they must know their audience

Seen it through to ep17 (last week's in the US). It's pretty good, though not a patch on 'Friends' (ahem.... so the wife tells me )

The first 2 episodes are repeated Mon, 11pm if anyone missed it tonight. Not convinced that Joey's charecter can be expanded to fill an entire show in the same way as Fraiser. Can't see this one lasting. ow many jokes can you make about Joey being dumb or having sex with tons of different women?

I was expecting this to be rubbish, but I was pleasantly suprised.
It has a lot to live up to, but if they can keep this up they just might have a success on their hands.
I'm currently transferring tonights episodes from Sky+ to DVD-R.
Anyone know how many episodes are planned for this series?

Really loved this had some proper belly laughs in it, the other three main characters complement Joey very well.

24 episodes planned. As is the norm with US sitcoms.

Not bad but they need a couple of more characters say another male and another female. We need one dumb couple Joey/Sister = Joey/Phoebe, one unshure couple Son/new female = Chandler/Rachel and one controlling couple Superintendent/new male = Monica/Ross. This is SO Friends: LA.

I wonder if there is a husband of the Superintendent! although Joey's sister would know in the first place.

There is a hubby but he's never there. One of the funniest characters in the show is Joey's Agent, Stiffler's Mom. She steals every scene as she is just a female version, but funnier, version of Joey. The first few episodes are ok, hunour wise, it just takes time seeing Joey in new surroundings and different script writing taking place. The show does get funnier as it progresses, and the character played by Lucy Lui is a hoot; she does comedy quite well!

I enjoyed, but it will take getting used to the new set and new charachters, must admit his Sister annoyed me a bit.
Is that supposed to be the same sister who got pregnant at 16 that was in one Friends episode...? (cant recall which series!)
Also what film have i seen his nephew in... (paul Costanzo?) was it a teen movie.. sure it was!!!
Anyway, i'll carry on watching!
