Think you missed the point here chaps.

Whilst Cabin Fever is far from a classic it is a nod to the great horror films of the seventies and eightees, such as Evil Dead, the burning, friday 13th et al.

Its ironic film making at its best and the type of o.t.t bombastic film that scream and co. tried to immitate so badly.

Watch it again an reappraise it. Watch the special features etc.

Hope this helps.

No offense Cap.

Watched it once - didn't think it was a) horror or b) funny

Second time around - realised it was actually worse than the first time around.

Then again - didn't see why people thought The Blair Witch Project was a) good b) scary c) worth watching at all.

Still, can't all like the same movies otherwise we'd all be excited by Star Wars 3 (can you see me containing my excitement here........)

yes watched this for the first time the other day and i liked it not the best film ever but no harm done. spoiler: the dog was infected at the begining it was never explained how or why, so what who cares and in the end the last member of the group dies and the stoner deputy dumps him by the river and then you see tankers exporting the mineral water meaning anybody drinking it in the counry now will become infected. i liked it

the film aint great but there is a good middle section when it all starts getting frantic, thought the director showed some promise there, good beer and pizza film.
