I read his Angels and Demons (if that the right way round) and thought it was good until the last quarter and it got really stupid, so I never bothered with The Da Vinci Code.

It is a work of fiction though is it not? the worse half has read it and enjoyed but didnt mention any of the subject matter so I dont know

Yes. Debunks the book very well. I enjoyed it. Pokes fun at yank DVC tourists in France. What more could one ask for ?
