the snake was great, but I thought the bloke was a bit of a ******. - Like an ott version of Steve Irwin.
I prefer Mark O'Shea who doesn't wake up hibernating animals just to show them on telly.

Both Irwin and that chap last night seem to go for the dramatic effect, putting themselves in danger just for the effect of the camera. The whole program seemed a bit too Hollywood and staged to me, but the snakes were superb and nicely filmed (I won't say shot )

I like Irwin, but wish he'd cut out the drama, one classic scene :- "I'm up to my waist in a cornfield at midnight looking for a taipan. They might be attracted to my torch which puts me in serious danger as I won't see them comming with all this long grass so I best get back to the safety of the road"
Why ?

Cool

Is this the same guy who woke up that boa, which was in a ball sleeping, then later dragged a anaconda out of the riper and said I think it becoming fond of me.

out of the river?, yes last week. Yes he was knackered, and that anaconda was trying to wrap himself around him. The guy is mad.
