Hi,
Anyone being listening/watching the news over the past 48 hours, may have noted that the Muslim community are up-in-arms (no pun intended!) about the alleged negative portrayal of Muslim characters in "24: Day 4"!
Just as the Christians got freaked-out over "Jerry Springer: The Opera", and the Sikhs got "Behzti" (a theatre show) pulled from a theatre in Birmingham, now it's the turn of another religion to claim that entertainment is portraying them in a negative light.
Sorry, but I can't believe all these right-wing religious nutters who keep whining about how the media is to blame for everything. It

's me rigid, and gets right up my nose!
If they (insert your chosen religious denomination here) want to stop themselves being shown in a bad light, maybe they need to take a good long hard look at themselves, their own countries, and the news that is broadcast from within their own regions, before blaming other countries for a negative or stereotyped portrayal! (Just take one look at a news broadcast on "Al-Jazeera", and you'll find lots of scenes of fundamentalists blowing themselves up, in the name of their chosen religion!)
Why can't these people find a better, more informed way of trying to portray themselves in a more positive light, rather than blaming TV for everything?!
