Looking for new series info...calling PoochJD!! Can you help...??

Anybody know when the new series of Smallville & Start Trek Enterprise starts? January 9th already and no info coming from the relevant channels of these 2 series...

Apparantly (according to Dreamwatch magazine), this is the best season of Smallville yet...

Hi Family Guy,

Nice of you to ask for my assistance!

OKay, here are the details you wanted...

Smallville - Season 4 (Airs on E4 from 24th January at 9pm!)
Enterprise - Season 4 (Airs on Sky 1 from 15th March!)
Enterprise - Season 3 (Channel 4 - probably when they can be arsed to show it on Sunday afternoons, after "Smallville" Season 3 ends.)

I hope this info is of use to you.

Hi,

I think it's to do with Sky wanting to have at least one new US series to start every single month of the year on Sky 1. With March being a relatively quiet month (in the TV calender), I can only presume that's why they're delaying the start, so it'' run from March through to September (during the quieter summer period), and not be up against a lot of other "hot" new shows.

Seem to recall ,that some years ago ,SKY were in some sort of dispute with when they could show Voyager . It slipped that year as well.I thought it was to Jan ,from later in the previous year.
At least there is BSG in the Slot until then

Hi Miller, and everyone else,

What am I - a walking, talking Radio Times, to you folks?!

OKay, let's see what I can find out for you...

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (Season 5) starts on Five in about 2 months time.

"CSI: Miami" (Season 3) will start on Five, at around the same time.

"CSI: New York" (Season 1) will start on Five, later in the year, possibly June/July 2005.

"Law And Order: Criminal Intent" (Season 2) will start on Five tomorrow night - Wednesday 12th Jan at 9pm. (Season 3) will start on Hallmark, later in the year, probably late-July/August 2005.

"The OC" (Season 2) will start on C4/E4 in late-January/early-February 2005 on both channels. E4 will air episodes first, then they will premiere a week later (without any stupid DOG's, I might add), on C4.

Pooch, Hi mate

Whilst the dates are coming, do you know when Smallvill S3 on R2 is due out ?

For some reason, despite being a HUGE comic book fan and this being my thing I have ignored it on TV and just started getting them on DVD

I've read that the new series of Smallville is a big step backward on the last series. They've returned to the Krypton-effect-of-the-week method, with more contained stories.

Basically it's become Dawson's Creek with Superboy again.

Evening,

Duncan - alas, no Smallville: Season 3 DVD (Region 2) info, at the moment, only because it's coming from Warners, and they're dates are about as reliable as a car, running on toothpaste!

As for an "Ask Pooch" forum, ummm... no thanks guys. Just post as normal, and I'll help where and when I can, or failing that, there is a new "Coming Up In .... 2005" thread, at the top of the "Movies And TV" forum, which you can use to ask me for info on up-and-coming shows on UK TV channels. Obviously, each month, the title will be relative to the month that follows the one we're currently in. Hence, the current title reflects info for shows starting in Jan 2005, but the thread went "live" in December 2004. Does that make sense?

Cheers!

Pooch - my apologies for causing you so much trouble...

You're info in the past has always been so reliable and Mrs Guy has a thing for Tom Welling...and was desperate to know when he was on again.

Many thanks for your help, I think in all fairness to Pooch, a mod should maybe delete this thread now...or at least close it...
