Forget all the rubbish that was shown in 2004, the BBC redeemed itself right at the last minute. What am I referring to? BBC4 screening the Dennis Potter classic "The Singing Detective" with the ever brilliant Michael Gambon. This is or was British Television at its absolute best, what a splendid series and what a brilliant cast. Anyone who missed this certainly missed an absolute gem.

She is quite a looker isn't she! The scripts are so polished, the whole thing just works.
