Hi All,
I have some more updates for you, regarding upcoming shows, worth looking out for! Details were correct at the time of writing, but things may change. Check press nearer the time, for up-to-date information! Thanks!

Here goes.
1st Jan 2005
Pixar Day - The Disney Channel has several Pixar animated films showing throughout New Year's Day! If you've not seen any, here's the chance to catch three of the best: "A Bug's Life", "Monster's Inc" and "Finding Nemo".
Tom and Jerry Day - Boomerang has 24 hours worth of cat-and-mouse capers. Expect to see one or two rarities, amongst the favourites, and possibly one or two uncut gems as well!
6th Jan
Charmed: Season 7 - LivingTV at 8pm (All new to the UK, here's episode 1 of Season 7!)
Law & Order: 300th Episode - Sky 1 at 10pm (New to the UK, this is the landmark 300th episode, from Season 13. This will be as good as always, but remembered more for the very recent death of lead actor Jerry Orbach, who died just 48 hours ago from cancer.

)
7th Jan
Threat Matrix: Season 1 - LivingTV at 10pm (All-new US drama follows a government team devoted to eliminating terror threats, including assassination attempts, large-scale bombings, and threats against the President himself. Has had positive feedback from the US press/media.)
9th Jan
Malcolm In The Middle: Season 6 - Sky 1 at 7pm (Yep, he's back, the ne'er do well, Malcolm, and his dysfunctional family and neighbours.)
11th Jan
Rescue Me: Season 1 - Sky 1 at 10pm (All-new controversial, hard-hitting and explosive drama/comedy based around the aftermath of a team of firefighters who survived the 9/11 tragedy. Unusually, for a prime-time drama series, this was based on a true story, and stars anarchic and acidic stand-up comedian Dennis Leary. Critically-acclaimed, this is certain to become the hit show of 2005!)
12th Jan
The Wire: Season 1 - FX289 at 10pm (From the US cable channel HBO, and the creators/writers of "Homicide: Life On The Street", comes a new 13-part series based around the housing projects and gangs of Baltimore. If you thought "The Shield" and "Deadwood" weren't gritty enough for you, this take on the troubles of drugs should be an eye-opener! Although this is the first time the show's seen UK transmission, the US is already on Season 3. Another show destined to become a cult classic!)
13th Jan
Family Guy: Uncut Season 1 - FX289 at 9pm and Midnight (See this anarchic animation show, as it was meant to be seen, in its uncut, uncensored and undiluted format! All 3 seasons, to date, will be shown back-to-back! Meet evil baby Stewie, and the rest of his family, as they give the Simpsons a run for their money!)
14th Jan
Navy NCIS: Season 2 - FX289 at 10pm (All-new series of the brilliant "JAG" spin-off show, from 80's action show maestro Donald P. Bellisario - the man who gave the world "Airwolf", "Quantum Leap" and "JAG". Fun, sometimes clever, but not on the same intelligence level as "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation". However, it's still great drama, by any standards!)
Tripping The Rift: Season 1 - Sky 1 at 10:05pm (You'll never be able to watch the Muppet's "Pigs In Space" skits in quite the same way ever again, when you watch this new puppet-animation/claymation show. Rude, crude, and raunchy, this is an animated version of "Lexx". There's even a sex-slave character called Six! Destined to be cult viewing, for every 18-45 year old male!)
15th Jan
Monk: Season 2 - Hallmark at various times (If you like detective dramas, but find many recent US shows to be too dark for your tastes, maybe this one will be more to your tastes. In the style of "Due South" and "Sledgehammer", meet Adrian Monk, a man for whom everything is something to be feared. An obsessive compulsive, Monk finds himself working with his old colleague, Captain Stottlemeyer, and tries to help him solve various mysteries, in his own, inimitable way. Gentle, but hilarious family drama, with no sex, violence or bad language, and yet never, ever boring! Often includes cameos and guest-stars as the victims/culprits! First of 13 episodes.)
16th Jan
Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars (Part 1/2) - Sky 1 at 9pm (Waiting to see how it all ends? Watch this first of a two-part TV mini-series, and find out how! Part 2 is on next Sunday night, at the same time. 120 minutes per part.)
20th Jan
Las Vegas: Season 2 - Sky 1 at 8pm (More new US drama, set in the world of casinos and illicit gambling. With US movie great, James Caan in the title role.)
Cold Case: Season 2 - Sky 1 at 9pm (Joe Pantoliano stars in the second series of this US crime drama.)
24th Jan
FILM: 28 Days Later - The Alternate Cut (18) - Sky Movies 1 at 10pm (Watch this special showing of "28 Days Later", a cool, and horrific British zombie movie, but with the original, darker ending re-instated, where it should have been. Showing in a digitally remastered, widescreen version.)
25th Jan
The OC: Season 2 - E4 at 9pm (Return to Orange County, and see what happened to Seth, Ryan, Marissa, and the rest of the gang, as Season 2 concludes the shocking ending to Season 1! No transmission details yet for C4, or whether or not this Season will air uncut and uncensored, unlike Season 1!

)
26th Jan - Australia Day
Various channels will be devoting some (or many) of their programming, to this very special day. So crack open some tinnies, throw a shrimp on the barbie, and park the Ute somewhere safe, before switching on to the numerous films, dramas, comedies and documentaries about all things Aussie!
30th Jan
24: Day 4 - Sky 1 at 9pm (He's back! His daughter's just as annoying, and he's still having the worst day of his life. CTU agent Jack Bauer returns, this time to stop yet another terrorist attack. Sky 1 is showing the double-length first episode, as a single two-hour special! Day 3 has still not been scheduled for transmission on Five. This means, terrestrial fans are now a whole season's worth of the show behind Sky, since the BBC refused to buy Day 3!

)
Happy New Year's viewing people!

P.S. Please could one of the Moderators set-up a sticky thread called "Coming Soon On TV", so that I (or anyone else) can post about upcoming shows, instead of having multiple threads, like we've had over the past? Thanks.
